Welcome to Remindr ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by TheSuperSoft. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Remindr (the "App") and associated services.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form using bcrypt). This information is necessary to provide you with our services and authenticate your identity.
Reminder Data
We store the reminders, categories, and notification schedules you create within the App. This includes titles, descriptions, dates, times, frequency settings, priority levels, and associated amounts (if any). This data is essential for the App's core functionality.
Device & Technical Information
We collect your device's timezone setting to ensure reminders are delivered at the correct local time. We also collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token, which is a unique device identifier used solely for delivering push notifications to your device. We do not collect your device's location, contacts, or other personal device data.
Analytics & Crash Data
We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, feature usage patterns, and general engagement metrics. This helps us understand how users interact with the App and improve the experience. We also use Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) to collect crash reports, error logs, and device state information when the App encounters errors. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. Both services may collect device type, operating system version, and app version. No personally identifiable information (such as reminder content or email) is shared with these analytics services.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our App and its core features
- To deliver push notifications and alarm-style reminders at your scheduled times
- To manage your account and provide customer support
- To sync your reminders across sessions using your timezone
- To analyze anonymized usage patterns and improve the App (via Firebase Analytics)
- To identify and fix bugs and crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies:
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)
Used to deliver push notifications to your device. Collects FCM token (device identifier).
Firebase Analytics (Google)
Used to collect anonymized app usage data such as screen views and feature engagement. No personal data is shared.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
Used to collect crash reports and error logs. Collects device type, OS version, and app state at time of crash.

5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission between the App and our servers. Reminder data is also stored locally on your device for offline access and reliable alarm delivery. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, all your personal data (including reminders, categories, and profile information) will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of the deletion request. Anonymized analytics data that cannot be traced back to individual users may be retained for longer periods for statistical purposes.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. The App contains no advertisements. Your reminder data is private and only accessible by you. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- • With third-party service providers (Firebase) solely for the purposes described in Section 4
- • When required by law, legal process, or government request
- • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
- • With your explicit consent
8. Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to function properly:
Notifications
To deliver your reminders and alerts on time
Exact Alarms
To schedule precise alarm-style notifications at the exact time you set
Internet
To sync your reminders with our servers and receive push notifications
Wake Lock
To ensure alarms work when screen is off or device is in sleep mode
Boot Completed
To reschedule alarms after device restart
Vibrate
To provide vibration alerts for reminders
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- • Access your personal data stored on our servers
- • Request correction of inaccurate data through profile settings
- • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account
- • Opt out of analytics by contacting our support team
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the App (Profile > Delete Account) or by visiting our Account Deletion page. When you delete your account, all your personal data, reminders, categories, notification history, and associated information will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device is removed immediately upon account deletion or app uninstallation.
11. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
